DCR Unveils Plaque at Moton Museum Honoring Five Lost Lives

On Saturday, May 30, 2009, the Martha E. Forrester Council of Women held a program of remembrance, "Gone But Not Forgotten," at the Robert Russa Moton Museum in honor of five young Prince Edward students who lost their lives in a tragic 1951 bus accident in Elam, Virginia. During the program, the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation dedicated a plaque to be placed on the High Bridge Trail State Park in honor of the five young lives.
