Moton Vista

On July 20-22, a number of former VISTA volunteers returned to this area to observe the 30th anniversary of their service in Central Virginia. All had been VISTA workers in the area in 1970-71, most with C-PAC in Cumberland. As part of their reunion, nine of the former VISTAs toured the Robert R. Moton Museum in Farmville. Pictured in front of the Museum (front, l-r) are Steven Rosenfield, who now lives in Charlottesville; Richard Capp, now of Las Vegas, NV; Dale Levin, of Wilmington, DE; Lesley Pierce, of San Francisco; Ken Ackerman, of Albemarle County; (rear) Mimzy Tackney-Moen, of Littleton, CO; Loree Bryer, of Los Angeles; Lindsay Nolting, of Columbia, VA; and John Doggett, of Los Angeles.
